My LP group is organising a "WOW" day for our chosen beneficiary: Society of the Physically Disabled. The purpose is to bring love,joy and friendship to the physically whom otherwise may have little or no interactivity with the outside world.
One of the fundraising acts is to collect old newspaper. Hard work ok...Now, i know how a karang-guni guy works. Now, i know how they keep fit!
We collected about $182, not much. We definitely could get more by getting sponsorships (which we already had)...but the experience and effort and the rapport created was PRICELESS.
Looking forward to the WOW day on 31 August. Looking for volunteers too...Let me know if you wanna help out in a way or another.
