Remember my reading "spree"? Hmm, I had stopped reading any books for now...the main thing I read of recent is the lines for the play...The Importance of being Ernest...
Ernest...add an "a" after E, its a new word altogether...earnest.
The dictionary/thesaurus describes earnest as sincere,fervent,heartfelt,warm,passionate and wholehearted...hmm, to make life interesting and happening, it seems not all people are earnest...sigh...
Some people look earnest but not...today is a good example...In my line of duty, I meet lots of people... some look nice and others mean...If they look mean and they ARE mean, I could understand...there are others who look nice but are NOT...that's when they make my blood boil...
Usually, people who wear the "tudung" are supposed to be holy, nice and patient and all the good qualities attached to them, but there were these 2 people who were being nasty, rude and demanding...my other staff had a hard time handling them. I wished I could tell them in the face that they are embarassing the other people who wear tudung and are nice...sigh...
Could the "holy" people please behave!!! Its irritating and misleading...
Touching on the topic of not judging a book by its cover...First impressions are not accurate at times...so do not be swayed and prejudiced....the good ones might be full of deceits afterall...and the baddies might be full of goodies...
So, read your books fully and don't base it on just the cover...cos covers are specially designed to entice...:P
